How I Teach Russian

In my lessons, we focus on your goals, your pace, and your needs. Every session is built around what matters to you: whether it’s speaking with family, traveling, preparing for an exam, or just enjoying Russian culture.

My teaching is based on 3 important things:

    I work in partnership with my students. We constantly monitor progress, and discuss what is important at the moment and what can be changed to make the learning process more productive.
  • Personalization
    Whether you want to improve your speaking, listening, reading, or writing skills, we'll work together to create the perfect program. I also aim to make each lesson enjoyable, so I tend to include a variety of materials (articles, posts, YouTube/Instagram videos, games, etc.).
  • Emotional state
    If you're struggling with negative emotions or beliefs about the language, I can help you overcome them because I understand that your emotional state plays a significant role in your language-learning journey and I'll do my best to create a supportive environment.
