In this course, you’ll dive into 11 carefully selected grammar topics, giving you the foundation you need to speak Russian correctly from the start. We’ve focused on regular forms only, so you won’t get bogged down by exceptions. By mastering these essentials, you’ll be able to express yourself confidently and correctly in everyday situations.

With over 90 targeted exercises, you’ll get plenty of practice applying the grammar you learn. Each exercise is designed to reinforce specific rules, helping you internalize key concepts and use them naturally. These exercises gradually increase in difficulty, ensuring steady progress while keeping you engaged. By the end of the course, you’ll feel comfortable using essential Russian grammar in real conversations.

As you learn and practice grammar, you’ll also be introduced to basic vocabulary. This course integrates key words that you’ll use often in conversations. I’ve also tried to include as many international words as possible—terms that are similar across languages—so you can quickly build up your vocabulary without feeling overwhelmed.

You also get a special notebook (pdf) with an instruction. Writing down key grammar rules and examples will help reinforce your learning and give you a personal resource to refer to whenever you need it. This practice also encourages active learning, as summarizing the rules in your own words makes them easier to remember.
